You should be ashamed of calling yourself a veteran owned company then exploiting your veteran customer base by adding hidden cost to their purchase without informing them. There shouldnt be a company or store that takes advantage of their customer this way - hidden cost, up charging, or exploiting their customers is unethical business practice and just down right wrong. I was also informed and to no surprise of mine, that I was not the only customer to express their anger and disagreement with the additional fees. I spoke with the General Manager (Scott) and was told I have 2 options: return my purchase and pay a $100 restock fee or pay the $100 surcharge and complete my purchase. They told me that I had the option to return my order at a $10 per box restocking fee if I was not okay with this purchase. This was something that was not listed, displayed, or otherwise mentioned in any communication, invoice, and or the add. I was surprised two weeks later when I arrived at the store that they charged an additional surcharge of $10 per box of ammo (I ordered 10). I contacted the stores general manager to ensure availability, pricing, and finally placed my order. Being how ammo is these days I wanted to take advantage of the ammo availability even if I had to wait 2 weeks. It also helped to know that they were offering a great price on some pre-order 9mm ammo. I am usually in support of all veteran owned businesses and was more than happy to support this business even though it was located 36 miles away from me. Id recommend spending your money else where. The person was obviously uninterested in helping, so I left.So, if you want to be disregarded, and have a person blow you off due to not wanting to do paperwork, apparently Alpha dog is the place to go. I explained that it had been delivered earlier in the week, but was told it would still be $50. I went to pick up the parts, I was told that the fee would be $50, instead of $30 due to The girl who checks them in not working on the weekends. I generally cannot come in on weekdays to shop these days, so I generally do it on the weekends. Ive probably done 5-10 transfers with them in the last couple of years, and this was a first.2. Had receiver delivered to them, I was never Contacted about it being delivered. I Will continue to recommend alphadog, as I have done in the past.Just came home from there, and had a surprisingly bad experience. I will say the responsiveness was impressive, and the issue with the ffl fee was resolved(a miscommunication in house) and apparently I missed the call for the lower.Changed my rating due to the overall responsiveness and clear communication from the owner. UPDATE: had a email conversation with the Owner and got everything cleared up.
